In the NHL trade rush, several players hit the waiver wire. Boris Katchouk from the Chicago Blackhawks is among them. Also waived are Tony DeAngelo and Brendan Lemieux from the Carolina Hurricanes, along with former Blackhawks goaltender Antti Raanta, Jordan Oesterle, and others.

This comes after the Blackhawks traded Anthony Beauvilier to the Nashville Predators yesterday, are the Hawks making space an gearing up for a top-line winger to play alongside Connor Bedard?

While these players aren't top stars, they bring depth and experience. One standout is Tobias Bjornfot.

As teams gear up for the trade deadline, it's unclear who will find new teams.

Stay tuned for updates, as today will be filled with transactions.
