The Chicago Blackhawks and Danny Wirtz Receive Failing Grades in Agent Poll

In a recent poll that was run by The Athletic the Chicago Blackhawks were torched by anonymous NHL Agents, can we assume one of them was Allan Walsh?
The Chicago Blackhawks were recently trashed in the media by defenseman Seth Jones in his latest attempt to make a trade happen.
He trashed the team and declared them no different than the team that started the season in October.
Well, now a chorus of anonymous NHL Agents have continued to trash the team in a recent poll run by The Athletic.
The poll asked which team was the most poorly run franchise in the NHL, and while the Blackhawks didn't win it, they still came in third.
A terrible accolade for a team whose been trying to dig themselves out of the hole they've been in prior to the exit of Stan Bowman.
«When you got it all, you've got to run it like you do. I don't think they have a plan,» one agent said. «It should be getting done right. For what they've been given, Chicago and Detroit are the biggest letdowns. They've been given the keys to the kingdom, but my gosh.»
One Agent said, and another didn't let his feelings hold him back, as the criticisms were equally as brutal.
Ironically, Danny Wirtz wasn't mentioned in the poll, so during this whole debacle of which team is worse, Wirtz escaped unscathed.
The Blackhawks received one vote to «What is the most difficult front office to deal with in the league?» They also received a vote in the «What is the best front office to deal with?» category. It likely depends on the agent/clients to shape that perspective. And I'm not shocked they're in both camps considering their place in the standings again this year.
Considering the Hawks are a mixed bag this season, it's not hard to believe that multiple agents feel differently about the franchise.
As the team is currently undergoing growing pains, as talent comes in, and others go out due to injury or trades.
Regardless, the Blackhawks have a long way to go before they can earn the trust of their players agents, and fans.
The CHSN mishap may never be lived down by Blackhawks fans, and that's one area where Wirtz deserves the most criticism.
