The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Vegas Golden Knights for the second time this NHL season and Brandon Saad received a major promotion.

The game will be held this Thursday at 7:00pm EST at the T-Mobile Arena.
The Golden Knights currently hold a 7-2-1 all-time record against the Blackhawks at the T-Mobile Arena and with 24 games remaining this season, the Chicago Blackhawks are in dire need to prove they are competitors.
Four weeks ago, Brandon Saad and the St. Louis Blues had a sour ending when both camps decided to mutually agree on contract termination.
Making the 32-year-old two-time Stanley Cup champion a free agent.
According to reports, Saad had several offers from teams including he Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators.
After many busy days of working the phone with his agent, Saad would ultimately chose the Vegas Golden Knights as his next NHL organization, a smart choice as their currently first in the NHL's pacific division.
Saad has been slotted into the Golden Knights' lineup on the second line, but as he is set to face off against his former team, the Chicago Blackhawks, Golden Knights head coach, Bruce Cassidy, has promoted the 32-year-old to their top line, alongside Jack Eichel and Mark Stone.
The Golden Knights are anticipated to post a video tribute for Brandon Saad and his time with the Chicago Blackhawks, who he won two Stanley Cups for, and committed several years of his NHL career.
