"The Chicago Blackhawks are still in the mix for a playoff spot even though they now find themselves 4 points behind the Nashville Predators for 4th spot in the Discover Central Division. Hawks' general manager Stan Bowman has said he'd be willing to take on some bad contracts for picks or prospects. It also looks like they might be willing to move one of their defenseman. According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, the Hawks are currently having discussions regarding defenseman Nikita Zadorov. The Jets want to add some size on the blue line at the deadline and Zadorov would fit that description. The 25 year old will be a restricted free agent after the season with arbitration rights so he would stay under team control for the Jets next season. The 6'6" 235lb defenseman has made his presence felt in Chicago and added 7 points in 42 games along with 31 penalty minutes. What kind of a return do you think the Hawks could land for Zadorov?
