The Utah Hockey Club has had to cross mountains to find a literal brand name. They've recently encountered some obstacles along the way.

The Utah Hockey Club announced that they've narrowed down their brand name to three names.
It could be the "Hockey Club", "Mammoth", or "Outlaws". This was announced after their recent mishap which resulted in the team having to drop the idea of using the "Yeti" due to it already being trademarked. "Wasatch" was ruled out as well.
The fan vote is missing the Utah Yetis, which the team announced it wouldn't pursue further after failing to work out a co-existence trademark agreement with Yeti Coolers

So much for Ryan Smith's money being able to secure a brand name that could set them apart.
Now, they'll have to decide on three generic names that you'd see on a custom team in the NHL game created by EA Sports.
Each logo features the same colors the team uses at the moment, rock black, salt white, and mountain blue which we've seen unveiled before the NHL season began.
Now, it appears Clayton Keller, the team's only superstar, can't rock a fun name like the "Yeti".
Now, he'll have to settle with generic EA names like the "Outlaws", "Mammoth", and "Hockey Club".
Shouldn't Ryan Smith, who already owns the Utah Jazz, find a way to overcome small obstacles like this in advance? What happened to legitimate business plans?
'
This is the man who stole the "Arizona Coyotes"?
The "Hockey Club" is 6th in the Central Division with a record of 21-22-9 with 51 points.
