On trade deadline day, March 8th, the Chicago Blackhawks have made moves to bolster their AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, for the upcoming playoffs. Three players, Louis Crevier, Isaak Phillips, and Zach Sanford, have been assigned to the IceHogs from the Blackhawks' roster.

By sending these players down to the AHL, the Blackhawks are ensuring that they are eligible to compete in the AHL playoffs with the IceHogs. This move provides the IceHogs with added depth and talent as they prepare for postseason action.
