Florida Panthers Honour & Give Standing Ovation for Toews's 1,000th NHL Game (VIDEO)
Jonathan Toews has spent fourteen seasons in the National Hockey League, totalling 1,000 NHL games on last nights game (March 31st 2022) along with a whopping 844 total points along the way. Toews has paved his way into the Blackhawks dynasty with being a team changing player since day one. Head/concussion and more prior Injuries have caught up to the veteran forward- Toews has recently said "I am just trying to focus on my health" as he returned from a lengthy amount of time off due to a head injury.
Unfortunately for Blackhawks fans and Jonathan Toews his 1,000th NHL game took place on a road trip to Florida, and not in front of the teams home fan base. Florida deserves some credit as they made sure our captain was appreciated for this special moment, as well as the fans doing their own take in this by giving Toews a standing ovation.
