Rockford Ice Hogs dealt tough blow after medical update from team doctor
The Rockford IceHogs, AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks, face a setback as they make a push for the playoffs.
Team Physician Dr. Geoff Van Thiel provided a medical update, revealing that defenseman Nolan Allan and forward Ryder Rolston are both day-to-day with injuries. Allan is dealing with a right hand injury, while Rolston has a right knee injury.
Despite these updates, the IceHogs remain in hopes for a big win as they prepare to take on the Chicago Wolves tonight at the BMO Center.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m., and fans eagerly await the team's performance as they strive to overcome adversity and secure a victory on the ice.
