Connor Bedard loses it on referees following ridiculous call
The Referees in the NHL, are known for their terrible practices in rule enforcement.
This has been a major complaint the last 3 seasons, which included what could've been an undercurrent of corruption, as Tim Peel was ousted due to a hot mic.
Many times, the referee's rule enforcement is inconsistent or overblown depending upon the night.
Last night Connor Bedard suffered as a result of on penalty, against the Anaheim Ducks center Mason McTavish, he was matching up, man-to-man to keep pressure on McTavish, but ended up getting a hooking penalty.
Bedard is up to 24 PIMS this season, as a result of this "hooking" penalty thanks to the zebras.
This looked nothing like hooking, but the Blackhawks would end up being blanked by the Ducks 4-0, and the Bedard penalty didn't help.
