The youth movement in Chicago is prospering, as they held their ground against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and set a record in the same game.

The Chicago Blackhawks youth movement made a statement against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, January 24th.

The Blackhawks rookies were featured in the lineup, as the team had traded Taylor Hall before the game and sat Seth Jones.

The result would be spectacular, as the team would play a full 60 minutes, and rookies like Frank Nazar, and Louis Crevier would make a name for themselves as they made history against the Lightning.

* Frank Nazar (1-1-2) and Louis Crevier (1-1-2) became the first two Blackhawks rookies with a multi-point game this season. The last time Chicago had multiple rookies each post two-plus points in the same game was April 21, 2021 (Brandon Hagel: 1-2-3 & Pius Suter: 1-1-2).

Both rookies would post a multi-point game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, which hadn't happened since 2021.

Pius Suter and Brandon Hagel would be the last Hawks players to do so, which is an astounding fact considering we're in Connor Bedard's sophomore season.

Frank Nazar has been a revelation for the Blackhawks since he was called up to the NHL.

He's a puckhound, who likes to crash the net and create high-danger chances in the opposition's defensive zone.

Wherever he is on the ice, you know he'll be involved in a play happening for the Hawks.

He's played 19 games for the Blackhawks this season and has scored 7 points (2 G, 5 A).

Louis Crevier is a towering and punishing defenseman who at times could remind you of Nikita Zadorov.

He also has an offensive upside, which lent well to the Blackhawks as he posted a multi-point game against the Lightning.

Crevier has played 19 games for the Blackhawks this season and scored 4 points, (3G, 1 A).

If the Blackhawks have contributions like this from rookies like Crevier, and Nazar this early in their careers, should we expect the same from the rest?

Either way, putting up a solid sixty-minute performance against the Lightning showed effort we hadn't seen at the beginning of the year.

Do you think forward Frank Nazar and defenseman Louis Crevier will stay in the Chicago Blackhawks regular lineup?
