Havoc breaks loose following attack on Connor Bedard
It's a battle between the basement dwellers, as the Chicago Blackhawks are taking on the San Jose Sharks.
It's now the 3rd Period, as the Blackhawks are up on the Sharks 4-2, with goals by Kevin Korchisnki, Philip Kurashev,
Joey Anderson, and
Ryan Donato.
However, during the 3rd period the Sharks were playing dirty as Calen Addison, wouldn't even make a legitimate attempt to collect the puck.
Instead with Bedard on the ice, the Sharks defenseman rode Bedard into the boards, on top of his torso.
This is nothing but goonery, but the amateur kind.
Calen Addison was never taught the code during his hockey career.
It would result in Tyler Johnson taking in offense and sticking up for Bedard, pushing Addison off Bedard with his stick.
This would result in Tyler Johnson getting a roughing, against Addison and vice-versa, with Addison getting a penalty for roughing Johnson, INSTEAD of Bedard.
This happened with 7:32 left in the 3rd period.
The quality of the officiating this season is in the dumpster.
