A General Manager's Job Is Already On The Line

We are still over a month away from the return of the NHL, but we already have a General Manager feeling the heat when it comes to his job.
That is Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher. After Fletcher did a lack luster job of making any improvements he's got the Flyers fan base already calling for his head.
It didn't help matters when the best player available in free agency Johnny Gaudreau who put up 115 points last season wanted to play for you and Fletcher basically said thanks but no thanks.
Now you do whatever you need to do to make cap space for Johnny Hockey who now is a Columbus Blue Jacket.
The only noticeably difference is adding defenceman Anthony DeAngelo, and hiring the most controversial head coach in NHL history John Tortorella.
It's not just fans who are not happy with Fletcher's moves, Flyers Ownership have reportedly told Fletcher if the Flyers don't get noticably better this season Fletcher will find himself in the unemployed line.
