It wouldn't be a Stanley Cup Playoff series without a milestone from the Flower. With Minnesota's 5-1 win over St. Louis, Marc-André Fleury gets his 92nd playoff win, putting him in a tie with Grant Fuhr for third place on the all-time playoff wins list. Number 29 made just as many saves in his 521st win, tonight.
Fleury on Fuhr, from Michael Russo: "I'm sure I've played a lot more games than he has to get there (15). I think he was spectacular. ... He would always find a way to finish up games and win games. He's got so many championships and went to the Finals so many times. He's obviously a legend."
Martin Brodeur is holding steady at number 2 on the all-time list, with 113, but Fleury could feasibly reach that next year, depending on what team he plays for. Patrick Roy's 151 wins, however, will probably be safe for a little while longer. As far as overall career wins, Brodeur and Roy are flipped with Brodeur guarding his number one spot with a hefty 691, while Fleury could, again, snag that number 2 spot, this time from Roy's 551, next season.
