Another Goaltender Has Left The NHL..
It seems as if it is a trend nowadays for players to leave the NHL to play elsewhere for a much smaller percentage of salary, but it makes sense as some want to play closer to home. Alexander Radulov has confirmed he is leaving the NHL to do so, Nic Petan former Toronto Maple Leaf, as well as former starting goalie for the Oilers Mikko Koskinen is as well.
In this case it is another goaltender and it makes a lot of sense, the 24 year old net-minder has been in the AHL since the 2017/18 season and has only seen five NHL games since arriving in the NHL late 2017. He will be taking his talents close to his hometown in hopes to seek a full time net-minder role.
