BREAKING: Eastern Conference Team Has Two of The Best Coaches Available to Choose From
The NHL off-season is approaching as the Tampa Bay Lighting and Colorado Avalanche face off for the Stanley Cup on Wednesday, June 15.
Meaning the clock is ticking for NHL teams without a coach or general manager, this off-season contains some of the best coaches available throughout the past few seasons: Barry Trotz, John Tortorella, Peter Deboer, Bruce Cassidy and other former head coaches who are proven to produce winning in the past.
The two biggest names currently available are Barry Trotz and John Tortorella.
Trotz is mainly known for his shut-down defensive system leaves team who had a bad season on defense and the penalty kill eager to get a shot at a interview, and one of the first to do so were the Philadelphia Flyers.
It seems as if that is not the only option for the coaching vacancy in the bottom-5 Philadelphia Flyers organization, John Tortorella is also a option and the Flyers number-one insider released that they have narrowed their search down to Barry Trotz and John Tortorella- leaving some in question as to how the Flyers have two luxurious options when other teams like the Blackhawks are getting declined when asking for potential coach interviews?
