The NHL has passed a new interesting rule that only certain players will have to abide by.

All players who have entered the league after the 2019-2020 season will now be required by the league to wear a helmet during warmups. This new rule implementation is to protect players during warmups with all of the pucks flying around when the team is shooting around. It seems that this is just a small step forward with the NHL's emphasis on player safety.
