BREAKING: Malkin Reveals What Team He Wants to Play For Next Season
Evgeni Malkin is set to be one of the biggest unrestricted free agents on the market this off season alongside Claude Giroux, P.K Subban, Phil Kessel and another Pittsburgh Penguin Kris Letang.
Malkin has been apart of Pittsburghs iconic fan favorite trio of Crosby, Letang and as they like to call Malkin «Geno», but as of late it seems as if time may be expiring on the trio.. Malkin has suffered many head injuries throughout his career, and has only played one full healthy season throughout his last 10 years in the NHL- which is very concerning.
It seems as if the Russian star who is aging wants to stay settled in black and gold, and will be signing a short-term contract of what seems to be 2 years long with a average around $7,000,000.
Malkin is currently under contract for $9,500,000, while Sidney Crosby is under contract for $8,700,000.. something is not adding up there! The trio will be close to descending after Malkin's new two year contract expires, or if Letang does not re-sign.
