The NHL's Eastern Conference has made most of the big-moves this off-season and has improved the most, but what has the Western conference done?? The Chicago Blackhawks got drastically worst, the St.Louis Blues lost a few key pieces, Calgary lost a few superstars but also acquired Nazem Kadri and others, and you know.. Vegas is, uh.. Vegas..

The Blues stand out of those transactions, as they have lost very many pieces such as the teams goal scorer David Perron and young goaltending star in the making Ville Husso, who both went to the Detroit Red Wings.

One team has announced a HUGE signing today..

They have only made signings from in the organization such as forward Robert Thomas, the 23 year old who is coming off a 77 point season and earned himself a 8 year x $8.1 million dollar per year contract just after 2 years in the NHL, that deal brought the Blues management to question if they know what they are doing as Thomas has only had one good season.

And it seems as if they have done it again, signing 24-year old Jordan Kyrou to a 8-year $8.1 million dollar per year contract, Kyrou has only played two full NHL seasons and has only proved himself last year, with a 75 point season very similar to Robert Thomas.

This deal can go really south for the St.Louis Blues, as if these two who have only been in the NHL for very little-time, and are coming off their first semi-decent season do not work out, they are stuck in deep mud for eight straight years.
