BREAKING: Rangers Contact Chicago Regarding Patrick Kane
Elliot Friedman has reported that the Colorado Avalanche as well as the New York Rangers have inquired about Patrick Kane.
Rangers- Panarin, Zibanajad, Adam Fox, Kreider. Adding Patrick Kane would make them a heavy playoff favourite, but what would the rangers give up?
The Blackhawks have made it very clear that they are taking a rebuild approach, and will be sellers NOT buyers at the trade deadline.
If Kane were to be moved, they would not be looking for a superstar vs superstar trade, it would be pointless and not benefit the franchise in the rebuild approach they are taking, it would include promising prospects and high picks. Rangers having a lot of that, former first overall picks Kaapo Kakko, Alexis Lafrenier.
Other promising youth/prospects include: Ryan Lindgren (24) Filip Chytil (22) and others.
