The Edmonton Oilers have had a confusing off season, the team has not done much aside from losing a few depth forward pieces, and also goaltender Mikko Koskinen.
Goaltender Mike Smith also announced his retirement, and so did defenseman Duncan Keith. Meaning it was time to bring in a goaltender by the name of Jack Campbell who was the Maple Leafs back bone through there hard times this past season.
Well we are officially 39 days away from the NHL's returning date and the Oilers have made a final move, signing a Stanley Cup Champion defenseman..
The Edmonton Oilers have signed Ryan Murray to a one year deal with a average of $750,000, which is a steal of a deal. Murray did not have a full time spot on the avalanche roster this past season due to injuries, but he is going to improve the Oilers top 4 on defense.
