BREAKING: The Colorado Avalanche Have Contacted Chicago Regarding Patrick Kane

Confirms in last nights show on NHL Network, that the Colorado Avalanche have reached out to Chicago for Patrick Kane.
Blackhawks newly announced GM has also made it clear and says «I don't believe in players being untouchable(non tradeable) - there is always a possibility of a a move if the value is right.
Also confirming, that he is taking the approach of a rebuild to the Blackhawks. Could the Avalanche offer/give key-rebuilding pieces to help the Blackhawks process?
Avalanche are approaching a lot of depth/key players needing to be resigned. As well as these unrestricted free agents after this season:
Nazem Kadri (Center)
Andrei Burakovsky (Left Wing)
Darcy Kuemper (Goalie)
Valeri Nichushkin (Right Wing)
