Blackhawk of 17 Years & Cup Champion Has Sadly Passed Away..
The hockey world has been hit with many sadly deepened losses as of late, from cup champions to veterans of the NHL for many many years we sadly regret to announce the passing of Eric Nesternko at 88 years of age.
Eric Nesterenko spent seventeen years with the Chicago Blackhawks, winning a Stanley Cup in the 1961 season.
He was sure a aggressive one as he wasn't scared to drop the gloves with many, Nesternko seemed to have no fear.
Our thoughts and prayers at Blackhawks Nation are with the Nesternko family throughout these hard times.
