The Chicago Blackhawks have been pretty active over the past couple days, signing Jake Johnson, and now Cole Guttman.
Cole Guttman is coming out of Denver University and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Cole's draft rights expired with Tampa, so the Blackhawks picked him up. He was signed to a 2-year Entry Level deal, and will probably play in Rockford, as the Hawks tank for Connor Bedard.
Cole Guttman is an all-round good player. He was amazing in Denver. He was Captain when Denver won the 2022 Men's Hockey National Championship. Guttman had 45 points in 41 games, scoring 19 goals and having 26 assists.
Cole Guttman is 23 years old and joins the list of future stars the Blackhawks have.
