CEO Danny Wirtz released a statement to inform the public on Thursday afternoon.
The Blackhawks were not afraid to announce publicly who they've interviewed so far for potential General Manager candidates now that the search is over.
It will be one of Kyle Davidson, Eric Tulsky, Scott Mellanby, Peter Chiarelli, Mathieu Darche, or Jeff Greenberg.
One name that stands out the most has to be Jeff Greenberg who isn't even involved in the hockey community. He currently serves in a front-office role with the Chicago Cubs.
With the trade deadline coming up, you would think that an announcement for a new General Manager would be done soon. The obvious leader in the candidate race would have to be Kyle Davidson who has the interim role as the Blackhawks General Manager, he hasn't made any significant moves so far but he may deserve the chance to prove what he's got.
This is a start of something good and this team has some work to do before the start of next season.
