Blackhawks prospects set up for a beautiful goal.
The prospect pool for the Blackhawks continues to show its depth and its talent as two of their prospects helped tee up a nice goal against Kamloops. Colton Dach and Kevin Korchinski are high-level prospects for the Blackhawks and are currently playing for the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL.
The 20-year-old Dach was chosen in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft in the second round, 62nd overall playing the centre position and standing 6 foot 4, 196 pounds. This prospect has a long way to go to fill out his frame and be a potential power forward for the Blackhawks shortly.
Korchinski, on the other hand, was drafted in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in the first round 7th overall. This draft pick was sent from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Alex Debrincat. The 18-year-old defenceman stands at 6 foot 1 and 185 pounds.
Both players are currently in the third round of the playoffs against the Kamloops Blazers and Seattle now holds a 2-0 lead in the series after winning four to three in overtime tonight.
