Blue Jackets Hold Video Tribute For Domi and Jones - But Don't Add Any Domi Highlights
The Blackhawks make their first appearance in Columbus this season, and it is the first time returning to Columbus since leaving for Seth Jones and Max Domi.
Seth Jones spent six years with the Blue Jackets after a 2+ year stint with Nashville. Jones developed into one of the league's best defenseman as he was solid on both sides of the ice. He notched 223 points in 381 games for Columbus, which is great offense for a defenseman. It was his defense and discipline that the Blue Jackets loved, as he was able to defend at a high rate and stay out of the penalty box.
Domi is back in Columbus after having spent two years with the team. In 107 games he scored 56 points, but it was his time in Columbus where he really started to develop a physical presence. His offense dipped a little bit from what he did before in Montreal. So, Domi adjusted his game just a little bit to impact his team more.
Upon their return, the Blue Jackets provided them with a wonderful video tribute.
