Breaking News - The NHL Has Announced the NEW Salary Cap For Next Season..
Teams like the Tampa Bay Lighting and Vegas Golden Knights must be happy as ever hearing this news as they have had to sacrifice multiple depth players due to the cap hit, as well as both teams abusing the NHL's long-term injury reserve cap relief. Both teams placed key players on long term injury reserve and placed them back, avoiding their cap hit in that time while signing players to help their cup run.
The NHL has now upped the salary cap by $1,000,000 and it now sits at $82,500,000,000.
