Brian Elliot Makes Phenomenal Stack The Pads Save - Save of the year?
Goaltender Brian Elliot served four years straight in the Flyers starting goaltending role before his contract expired and he was not re-signed, the Flyers went a different route and signed Martin Jones, who did not work out whatsoever. Elliot ended up signing with the former cup champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning who started Brian Elliot between the pipes in nineteen games, where he was eleven of them posting up solid numbers.
Elliot is still with the Lightning organization and will be facing his former team, the Flyers, in tonights matchup, Elliot is not starting but he will be backing-up goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy.
Elliot started last nights game against the Anaheim Ducks where he earned his second win of the year in a very fashionable way, making a potential save of the year while stacking his pads, check it out below:
