Aside from the minor 4 goals in 71 seconds making NHL history, there was more to the battle of Alberta on Thursday into Friday's meeting.

We have truly seen some of the worst reffing throughout these playoffs, here is just a minor example on the quality of reffing we have received.

This time, it costed the Flames their entire season. Game 5 took place while the Oilers had a series lead of three to one meaning one Oilers win away from a Flames elimination. The game was tied with just minutes remaining, and Blake Coleman scored a goal while being taken down by a Edmonton Oiler.

The puck was already going into the net, while being hauled down Coleman's skate made contact with the puck due to him having to stop-the Refs waived the goal off and claimed it was a kicking motion. The game stayed tied and headed to overtime where Connor McDavid ended it quickly ending the Flames season.

How exactly do you kick a puck into the net on one leg? You be the judge!

Even Edmonton fans think they got robbed!
