It was a good run for the Edmonton Oilers. Despite not reaching their ultimate goal the Oilers would make it to the Western Conference Finals but unfortunately for the Oilers they were outmatched by the Colorado Avalanche especially when it came to goaltending.
However Connor Mcdavid and Leon Draisaitl would give some amazing moments over the three rounds they played as they carried the Oilers as far as they could.
Infact Connor Mcdavid would end up leading the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs in scoring despite not even playing in the Stanley Cup Final. The last time this happened was 2002 but that's not all Leon Draisaitl would finish second in points behind Mcdavid.
