As we all know by now, Adam Boqvist was sent to the Blue Jackets along with picks in exchange for
Seth Jones. At the time it was a dreaded trade, and truthfully it still is to some degree. However, it's worth noting that Boqvist still has yet to play a full NHL season. This is his fourth season. Not being able to complete a full NHL season is a crushing blow to any player, but especially a player trying to develop and reach their potential. Boqvist played a career high 52 games last season and is already going to miss a chunk of games this season. Meanwhile in Chicago, Seth Jones played in 78 games last season and has played in all six Blackhawks games this season.
