Former Chicago Blackhawk Brandon Hagel has had an exciting season. Following his mid-season trade to Tampa Bay Lightning, Hagel is headed to the Stanley cup finals. In March Hagel was traded for Taylor Raddysh, Boris Katchouk and a first round pick. During his season with the Blackhawks Hagel put up 37 points, beating his previous career record of 24. During his time in Tampa however, he has been less consistent scoring only 7 points in the regular season and 5 points in the playoffs. As well as getting into his usual fights, and cross checks.
Raddysh and Katchouk: Raddysh alone added 10 points in his 21 games. The Lightning have put up a heck of a fight this series, going neck and neck with Toronto and then sweeping the Panthers and Rangers. Specifically last night where the Lighting were able to finish off the series with four in a row against the Rangers leading them to the finals where they will play against Colorado. Following his trade Hagel stated how he felt grateful to get the opportunity of living every hockey player's dream to play in the playoffs and have a chance at the cup.
