Former First round Pick Announces He's Leaving The NHL..
It seems as if it's a trend nowadays to leave the NHL, but many wonder.. why? Is Gary Bettman ruining the NHL, with all the vaccination policies, certain players are leaving without a hesitation. Players are leaving a chance at a multi-million dollar contract for nearly 90% less in their respective countries and European leagues which many are headed to.
Now, we have the fourth player this week announcing his departure

Elie, 27, played just one game with the #Lightning last season, spending the rest of his time with Syracuse in the AHL He has played 107 NHL games split between Dallas, Buffalo, and Tampa Bay, putting up seven goals and 22
points. He was the 40th overall pick in 2013 by Dallas.
