Goaltenders Receive Huge News For Next Season: Regarding Equipment??
The NHL is quite strict on what brand of gear players and goaltenders can wear, mainly due to the fact that the NHL is sponsored by a few big brands such as Bauer, CCM, and for others that do not support goaltenders such as Warrior, Sherwood and other brands- who still make goalie gear, but are not as well known.
Well a company by the name of McKenney Hockey who produces some beautiful fully customizable goalie pads have gained the rights to have there gear worn by American Hockey league goaltenders, assuming if they can build a good reputation they may make a jump and get approved by the NHL.

McKenney Hockey has gained entry into @TheAHL , allowing AHL goalies to wear branded McKenney gear next season. McKenney is a medium-sized custom equipment manufacturer whose production is based in Ontario.
The gear is quite beautiful as well!
