The Chicago Blackhawks lost a big piece to their blueline last year, after a hit put one of their top-four guys out of the lineup for substantial time.
Defenceman Connor Murphy is the man in question, and recently he revealed his thoughts towards the matter.
I can't imagine a scenario where the organization were pleased about the hit either, as they were short one of their better defenders.
Murphy, the 28-year-old, Boston native was limited to just 57 games in 2021, and is still yet to eclipse the 60 game mark, since his first season with the Hawks in 2017-18, when he played 76 games.
