In 1999, the Blackhawks claimed Sullivan off of the waiver wire, and he contributed almost right away. The year later, Sullivan recorded a career-high 73 points, including a league-high eight short-handed goals. Throughout his five years with Chicago, he recorded 303 points (118 goals, 185 assists) in 370 games.
