The Carolina Hurricanes have been a crazy team in the 2022 Playoffs 7-0 at home and 0-6 on the road, so the Hurricanes were hoping the PNC Arena would be a boost to move on to the next round.
Unfortunately the Rangers came out flying and would build a early 2-0 lead stunning the fans in PNC Arena. Jacob Trouba would the knock Seth Jarvis out of the game with a big hit in the first period and would not return.
Things got even worse for the Hurricanes when Antti Raanta would injure himself making a stop on Mika Zibanejad. Hurricanes Pyotr Kochetkov would come in to finish the game as the Hurricanes confirm Antti Raanta would not return.
