It's Gameday! Rockford Icehogs Vs Chicago Wolves preview
The best of 5 series between in state bitter rivals your Rockford Icehogs (Chicago Blackhawks affiliate) and Chicago Wolves (Carolina Hurricanes affiliate) begins today at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. In the regular season the Hogs were a thorn in Chicago's (AHL) side, going 8-3-0-1, although finishing lower in the standings.
Hogs to watch include goaltender Arvid Soderblom, who made all but one save in a 2 game sweep of Texas, and is poised to draw NHL minutes in his near future.
