Lighting Advance to Cup Final & Release HUGE NEWS On Brayden Point!!
The Tampa Bay Lighting and New York Rangers series is now over as the favorites have changed and the lighting overcame being down two games to nine. The New York Rangers were up two games to zero in the series until the Lighting won three straight games with what seemed like ease, and they look to put away the Rangers for good Saturday in front of there home crowd in Tampa and they sure did.
Some may think the series may have been done much sooner if they had one of their key pieces healthy, which is forward Brayden Point. Point went down with a scary leg injury against the Toronto Maple Leafs in round one and has yet to play since.
Well good news has been received this morning that Brayden Point may be good to go for the Stanley Cup Finals! Game 1 seems very probable says lighting head coach, but he is 100% playing in the final!
