Fans of the Minnesota Wild are not happy with the way the organization is handling the new sponsorship deals. Apparently, the Wild are only selling its jerseys to the public with the sponsorship logo on them.
The logos on the jerseys are going to take some getting used to, but fans should have the option to buy a jersey with or without the sponsorship on them. Since the league and organizations are using sponsorships as a new revenue stream, it was expected that most jerseys sold through the team stores and team website would contain the logo, but many believed that the logo would be optional at the retail level. We'll see if the Wild and other organizations listen to the fans frustrations and find a way to make everyone happy.
