Montreal's Xhekaj Drops The Gloves For a Heavyweight Tilt You'll Want to See

Montreal defenceman Arber Xhekaj dropped the gloves again last night, this time against Columbus forward Mathieu Olivier. The fight took place at the end of the second period. Xhekaj landed a couple of good hits against Olivier, but it wasn't an easy fight.

During the same game, Arber Xhekaj completely crushed Liam Foudy on the Habs bench. He makes it clear that nobody should mess with him.

So far this season, the 21-year-old defenseman has 2 goals and 2 assists in 17 games. He also already has 40 penalty minutes in 22-23. The rookie from Montreal impresses with his toughness and great mobility. With the imminent return of Mike Matheson from injury, Xhekaj could be sent to the Laval Rockets. Although he's had solid performances this season, he still needs to work on his defensive game.
