We are almost a month into the NHL's free agent frenzy and there's still some very good talent up for grabs.
Including one of the most sought after free agents , London Ontario's own Nazem Kadri. The only reason Kadri is still available is because of the salary he's hoping to make after having a outstanding season last year, and winning a Stanley Cup.
However, according to Hockey Insider from the New York Post Larry Brooks, Kadri has lowered his asking to try to get a deal done as soon as possible.
Kadri was looking at making $10 million dollars annually but would settle at $9.5 million dollars. Brooks revealed Kadri is now asking for $9 million dollars annually and hoping for a 4-5 year minimum contract.
