Early in the first period of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals Colorado Avalanche Forward was on the receiving end of a nasty cross check from Edmonton Oilers Forward Evander Kane.
Kane was given a 5 minute major for boarding for the hit but was not ejected despite many people feeling he should have been. While Kadri is still yet to return to the game for the Avs.
Given that this hit happened early in the first, and Kadri did not return at all during the second period, it is likely Kadri is out for at least the remainder of this game. While Evander Kane may be facing supplemental discipline for this dangerous hit which resulted in an injury.
