Nazem Kadri was a victim of a brutal Evander Kane hit in their past serious where the Colorado Avalanche swept the Edmonton Oilers four games to zero. Kadri was seen leaving the arena in a cast, and Evander Kane received discipline from the NHL player safety committee before the next game occurred.

Since, the hockey community and Colorado Avalanche fans have been left questioning Kadri's future in this years NHL playoffs after news was released he would be confirmed OUT indefinitely for the rest of the playoffs, but it seems as his time-table for recovery has changed.

A longtime independent sports doctor has stated that Kadri's injury should sideline him for 7-10 days, meaning he may return for game one of the Stanley Cup Finals which would be a huge boost for the Colorado Avalanche.

It appears as Kadri suffered a broken thumb, but no updates have been given proving his diagnosis on what he was injured with.

Giving the circumstances of how tough NHL players are; like Leon Draisaitl playing two months with a sprained ankle, Colorado fans should look forward to Kadri returning for the Stanley Cup final!
