15 years ago today, Patrick Kane introduced himself to the hockey world. Though the Hawks and Wings went tied at 3 into the shootout, Showtime made his mark then and there. After going down 2-0 Kane started a rush that resulted in a Chicago goal. In the third goals from Wisnewsky and Robert Lang (remember him?) tied us up. After an up and down overtime with no scoring, we'll set the scene here. Credit to Mario Tirabassi of CHGO Sports for the tweet below.
Of course in the 15 years since, Patrick Kane has dazzled us with so many highlights that to name some would be beating a dead horse. We will not be waiting long after Patrick hangs up the skates to see him enshrined in the Hall of Fame, and the number 88 hung high above the United Center ice.
Full Highlights from the game below.
