The NHL playoffs have been nothing but a physical battle for any team, but one team especially: the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers first round opponent were the gritty LA Kings which injured Leon Draisaitl's ankle, days later they faced the Calgary Flames in the Battle of Alberta.

If any team has shocked the hockey world it has been the Edmonton Oilers, being underdogs and overtaking the Calgary Flames was a huge step into the right direction for the franchise, but sadly it wasn't enough as they got swept by the Colorado Avalanche.

Sometimes when huge steps occur some seem to get knocked back, one being Darnell Nurse. Darnell Nurse suffered a torn hip flexor within the last few weeks of the NHL season and has yet to recover- playing through 3 gritty and rough playoff series does not help the fact of rehab needed on his torn hip flexor. He originally needed 6-8 weeks to recover, and didn't follow that whatsoever.

Hip flexors are a group of muscles in which work together to move your leg, which is insane for the minutes Darnell was tallying up.
