Patrice Bergeron Confirms Where he Wants to Play Next Season..
There has been tons of speculation regarding Patrice Bergeron retiring as the Boston Bruins lost game 7 to the Carolina Hurricanes to send them home. Patrice Bergeron hugged each and every player, as well as shaking the hands of the referees which usually signal a goodbye.
Bergeron has totalled over twelve-hundred games played with the Boston Bruins tallying up a whopping 982 points, passing Bobby Orr in all-time Bruins points and now trailing familiar faces such as Ray Borque, Phil Esposito and Johhny Bucyk.
In question to his retirement as he hugged his teammates, media asked Patrice-and he answered.
"It's too early right now," said Bergeron when asked about his future following the loss on Saturday. "It's too fresh." But the next morning, Bergeron spoke further and gave the media as well as the Bruins fanbase more info on his future.
Bergeron was asked if he would be willing to play anywhere else and he simply answered with a straight forward «no» , and that it's the Bruins he's with or nothing at all (meaning retirement).
