Patrice Bergeron Gets Asked by Media If He Is Retiring..
There has been tons of speculation regarding Patrice Bergeron retiring as the Boston Bruins lost game 7 to the Carolina Hurricanes to send them home. Patrice Bergeron hugged each and every player, as well as shaking the hands of the referees which usually signal a goodbye.
Bergeron has totalled over twelve-hundred games played with the Boston Bruins tallying up a whopping 982 points, passing Bobby Orr in all-time Bruins points and now trailing familiar faces such as Ray Borque, Phil Esposito and Johhny Bucyk.
In question to his retirement as he hugged his teammates, media asked Patrice-and he answered.
"It's too early right now," said Bergeron when asked about his future following the loss on Saturday. "It's too fresh."
