St. Patrick's(88) Day
March 17th, 2022 -
Patrick Kane has played 1,086 games for the Chicago Blackhawks after being selected 1st overall in the 2007 NHL Draft.
During this time he has showcased elite talent in both playmaking ability as well as displaying some of the best hands the sport has ever seen. Not to mention one of the coolest nicknames in «Showtime».
There are debates on the best American born hockey players and most have Kane at the top of that list.
Numbers like these are hard to argue against:
● GP: 1,086
● Goals: 423
● Assists: 733
● Points: 1,156
● 3x Stanley Cup Champion
● Hart Trophy Winner
● Calder Memorial Trophy
● Art Ross Trophy
Kane's goal scoring is not going to compare to the Auston Matthews' of the world but his playmaking ability and leadership he brings is beyond compare. He is one of if not the Greatest in Chicago Blackhawk team history. I know Debrincat, Reichel, and company are the future for Kyle Davidson's rebuilding future.
I think we should make Kane a priority to help facilitate that as well. I thought on this St. Patty's we should all take a minute and truly appreciate what we have got to witness over the past 15 seasons. Raise your Green Beers in Honor of # 88! Cheers!
