REPORT - Blackhawks Make Final Roster Cut: Send Forward to Rockford
The Blackhawks are alongside 31 other NHL teams who are currently in the week of the ''cap crunch'' where teams are due to submit their 23-man roster, and make many decisions on there camp rosters which usually contain over 30 players cut, sent down or sent to their respective junior team.
The last cut, but sure not the least of the Blackhawks defensemen cuts sadly contains Isaak Philips, a six-foot three, two hundred pound 21 year old prospect who was drafted in the late rounds of the 2020 NHL entry draft 141st overall, and has since been excelling his game with the Rockford Ice Hogs.
